Over the course of their career,The Electric Cowboys have received multiple awards in some of the country’s major music categories, including three Grammy nominations, over 1 million views on YouTube and a top eight-7 million vote finish on CMT’s Music Madness Video Contest!
This charismatic groups passion for music and performance continues to fuel a successful career built on a foundation of solid dedication, hard work, team-effort that comes directly from the heart. It is these efforts that allow this group to continue to produce their brand of live performance to the thousands of fans that have come out to their concerts.
They toured with the Dixie Chicks on their “Fly” Tour and have shared the stage with such acts as Patty Griffin, Willie Nelson, Ricky Skaggs, Joe Ely, Jo Dee Messina, Clay Walker, Toby Keith, SHeDAISY, Kevin Fowler, Dwight Yaokam, Kyle Parks and many others as well as have performed at many Country Thunder events throughout their career.
There isn’t anything that these individuals can’t do on their own, from writing, producing and recording their own music and videos, to fixing their own tour bus when it breaks. Each member has a unique level of skill and talent. This group of musicians will tell you that it has not been an easy road at all, but they will always be grateful for being able to play music for a living. This being the only job these individuals have had in over 20 years, nothing is holding them back from one day sitting at home watching television to being asked to go on tour for a month, this band is what many would call, a turn key package and are always ready to hit the road at a moments notice.
Working closely with J-Beck records producer, Carl Becker, the band released “Prisoner of the Honky Tonk”. Within three weeks of the release of this album, “Because I Love You”, secured the #6 position as a Hit Single on Texas Radio 94.7 and #4 on BNET Radio. “…We are getting reviews from all over the world. This proves once again that these boys are here for the long haul. In 2015, the band released their hit single “Little While” which immediately charted on Country and Texas Country radio. The band took home the 2015 Modern Country Song of the Year for “Little While” at the Josie Music Awards in Nashville, TN. Their next single “Baby Don’t Go”, also hit #1 on the Country Radio Charts and landed the band nominations at the 2016 Josie Music Awards. The Electric Cowboys performed at the 2016 Josie Music Award and won an award for Best Live Band.
